A group of Genesee students traveled to Michigan State University to learn from scientists stationed at the IceCube facility in the South Pole. They spent time on a Zoom learning about their work and what it is like to be stationed there. They also got the chance to build their own nuclear particle detector, and use data like a real physicist.
