It’s a pleasure to announce that Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is now open to families throughout Genesee County. The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a FREE early literacy program that sends developmentally appropriate children’s books to families each month from birth through a child’s 5th birthday. This program is provided through local champion Flint & Genesee Literacy Network at Mott Community College.
Families can register online at: https://imaginationlibrary.com/usa/affiliate/MIGENESEE/ Assistance in registering children for this program is available at all 19 Genesee District Library branches.
Our administrative meetings paused today as our Kindergarten and grade 1 students filled the Jr/Sr high hallway with cheer this morning through song. Thank you for filling our hearts with joy and our ears with beautiful carols! Your hallway performance was absolutely delightful, and we couldn't help but smile from ear to ear.
